Keith is a member of the firm and its Managing Partner. Keith brings more than 24 years of experience to clients engaged in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, locally and nationally. Keith assists clients in buying and selling all types of commercial properties, including acquisition and disposition of undeveloped land; development of retail, office and industrial facilities; and office, industrial and retail leasing for both landlords and tenants.
He has also provided counsel on various types of real estate loan transactions involving institutional lenders and borrowers, including conventional, construction and permanent mortgage financing. Clients include national, regional and local developers, owners of skilled nursing and healthcare related facilities, tenants and business park associations.
Keith began his legal career as an associate with Berman, Fagel, Haber, Maragos & Abrams (now Thompson Coburn Fagel Haber), where he practiced as a real estate associate for two years. He then moved to Horwood, Marcus & Braun (now Horwood, Marcus & Berk) where he practiced real estate for five years. From 1992 to 1996, Keith practiced at Rallo & Tepper (now Arnstein & Lehr). In 1996, Bruce Mason and Keith formed Mason & Wenk, the predecessor of Mason, Wenk & Berman.
Keith received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) in 1982 and received his J.D from Chicago Kent College of Law in 1985 where he served as Managing Editor of the Chicago Kent Law Review.
Keith is on the Board of Directors of the Northbrook Junior Spartans Football Program. Keith lives in Northbrook, Illinois with his wife and three children. |
